After graduation in Physics & Linguistics, Chris Harvison has worked as a developer and architect for solutions running on Mainframe systems, handheld devices and just about everything in-between. He has spent the last 11 years at Scotiabank and currently works in the Architecture Office as an Enterprise Architect. Chris has led several leading-edge initiatives at Scotiabank including the first use of web-services within Scotiabank and the “.Net” early adopters program. More recently, he led the successful implementation of SAML 2.0 based federation between Scotiabank and its partners as well as several other core initiatives in the Enterprise IAM arena.
