Dr. Oliver Pfaff holds architectural responsibility and is the head of a development team charged with the conceptual design and realization of a security product for SOA environments. Oliver's team is appointed with several deliverables including the Siemens realization of the security subsystem for the eFA specification, a Web services-based system for the joint use of medical data objects across health care providers(www.fallakte.de). Right before that, he was responsible for the security architecture and implementation of a Java-based, service-oriented communication platform. Since 1992, Oliver works at Siemens in the field of information security and did study mathematics and computer science before.
