David Bundi

David Bundi is the Head of RegTech and a Senior Manager at PwC Legal Switzerland. He has over 12 years professional experience in Legal & Compliance, Innovation, and Project Management in the banking industry. David worked in Zurich and New York with the largest global Swiss bank and with multiple international private banks in Switzerland. Prior to joining PwC, he was Chief Compliance Officer at an innovative retail-bank and also an Advisory Board Member with two RegTech firms. One of David’s particular strengths is the combination of leadership skills and expertise in the areas of Governance, Risk, Legal & Compliance related to innovation, data and new technologies. David has built a unique global network in the RegTech space and is considered a global thought-leader in RegTech. This is reflected in the fact that he is a judge at international regulatory technology competitions (e.g. FCA's TechSprint), RegTech Expert at economiesuisse, the Swiss FinTech Innovations Association, the International RegTech Association, and President at the RegTechtalks Association. He is much in demand as a keynote speaker and panelist at major international RegTech conferences as well as lecturer at universities on RegTech, Legal & Compliance, AI/ML, Innovation, Data and the latest technologies in the regulatory space. He received his Masters degree in law at University of Fribourg (CH), in addition to his studies in law at the University of Bristol (UK), and further education in law at the New York University School of Professional Studies (US). In his spare time, he is a passionate and active member if the global Disruption Disciples movement where he is the Co-Head of the Zurich Chapter and one of the key drivers of the entire initiative. Last but not least, he is the author of the Chapter "RegTech with a Mindset for Breakthroughs" of the book "New Suits - Appetite for Disruption in the Legal World" by Michele DeStefano and Guenther Dobrauz-Salapenna.
