Yana Afanasieva

After 10+ years of experience in corporate finance with Fortune 500 companies followed by several years as a head of EMEA regional compliance functions for Amazon and PayPal in Luxembourg, Yana Afanasiva has founded Competitive Compliance GmbH in Zug Crypto Valley in February 2017 to help Fintech, blockchain and cryptocurrency startups better navigate regulatory landscape, maintain regulatory dialogue  and governmental relationships, and secure appropriate licenses and authorizations. Yana is an active contributor for the regulatory activities of the Crypto Valley Association, a payments and compliance expert at the  Swiss Finance+Technology Association and a mentor at the Startupbootcamp Fintech Acceleration program in Amsterdam. She holds a Master's Degree in Economics from Helsinki University and an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management.
