Antti Partanen

Antti was appointed as VP Security and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Sunrise GmbH as of January 1st , 2023. Sunrise is the leading challenger and a strong number two in the Swiss telecommunications market and a publicly listed company on the SIX Swiss Exchange. As the CISO at Sunrise, Antti is responsible for information security management, strategy and roadmap, cyber security, security operations, customer security as well as lawful interception.

Antti is a seasoned, results-driven and recognized technology and security leader with 30 years of international experience and a proven track record in complex and multi-cultural environments, most of this in the telecommunications and security field. Before joining Sunrise, Antti worked for 8 years at Vodafone GmbH in Germany as Deputy CISO and Head of Cyber Prevent. Before that, Antti built and headed the SOC at Kabel Deutschland.

Originally Antti is from Finland, where he studied at the Helsinki University of Technology (now Aalto University) and earned his Master of Science in Electrical and Communications Engineering. Antti is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) since 2016. In March 2026, Antti received the award as one of 100 Digital Shapers in Switzerland, in the category of the Defenders.
