Mauro has been active in the cryptomarket since the end of 2016 and founded a crypto company in 2019 during his last year of Law School, which he successfully sold two years later. Focusing on the cryptomarket from the legal perspective, in 2022 he was the lead for a startup obtaining the strict Dutch crypto license and became Chief Compliance Officer. At the start of 2023, he made the transfer to Amdax, the largest digital asset manager and custodian in the Netherlands, where he is responsible for all policies within the AML, Risk, Governance and Ethical Conduct frameworks. His passion and profession take him to all edges of the digital asset space, including zero-knowledge proofs.
