Doron Grinstein     Doron Grinstein
CEO
BITKOO

BiTKOO’s co-founder and CEO, sold his first software product at age 14. After several years as President of a successful US construction company, he moved to the Walt Disney Company. There Doron developed his professional passion: software security.  His first project at Disney was the “Doron Security Component”, which still secures nearly all of Disneyland’s applications. That same year, the Walt Disney Company scoured the marketplace for a product that would address their extensive requirements while remaining interoperable with their existing IDM components (such as Active Directory, LDAP, SiteMinder, etc.). They found no adequate solution. Doron asserted that “access control is NOT rocket science” and drew a picture of a new kind of security engine.

His ideas were developed with the help of a dedicated team of software engineers and the result is Keystone. The Walt Disney Company adopted Keystone as its enterprise-standard for authentication and fine-grained authorization, and has enjoyed 100% uptime since 2004. In 2006, Disney graciously agreed to license Keystone exclusively to BiTKOO, the company Doron and his developers founded to bring this technology to a wider client base. Since then, Doron continues to innovate with inventions such as Federated Authorization, Generic Temporal Database Access, Generic Audit Trail System, Generic Firewall Crossing Gateway and additional technologies to be announced soon.
