Identity has become the central control plane of modern enterprise security. As attacks increasingly target identities, IAM is no longer a supporting function but a core component of cybersecurity strategy. This track explores how organizations are aligning identity, security, and operations to build resilient and scalable identity infrastructure.

A key focus is the relationship between IAM and cybersecurity. While both disciplines share the same objectives, they often operate in silos, leading to gaps in visibility, ownership, and response. Sessions will examine how proactive identity controls and reactive security capabilities can be integrated into a unified approach, supported by shared strategy, metrics, and accountability.

The track also addresses the organizational dimension of identity. Building an effective identity fabric requires more than integrating technologies. It depends on clear operating models that define responsibilities across teams, establish required skills, and enable consistent execution. Attendees will gain insight into how to design identity operating models that are practical, auditable, and aligned with real business structures.

From an architectural perspective, sessions will explore how identity can be used to drive Zero Trust transformation in a pragmatic way. Rather than treating Zero Trust as a future state, organizations are implementing risk-based approaches that link access decisions to context, assurance levels, and business criticality. This enables security to scale with risk while maintaining usability.

Finally, the track examines the evolution of authorization. As environments become more dynamic, organizations must balance established models with newer approaches that support fine-grained and context-aware access control. Attendees will gain clarity on how to combine these models effectively, avoiding unnecessary complexity while addressing real security and governance needs.

Across these topics, the emphasis is on execution. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to align identity architecture, organizational design, and security strategy to build IAM capabilities that are effective, adaptable, and ready for future demands.
