In a host orientated IT infrastructure, authentication and authorisation are often well-defined and implemented. Taking the next step to a SOA-architecture, new challenges occur in order to provide adequate authorisation mechanisms for SOA and even more for the combination of both worlds.
In this presentation I’ll concentrate on two authentication services. One of the services is in fact an authentication service which is Hub of authentication service called Tunnistus.fi and the other one is authentication and authorization service called Katso service (https://yritys.tunnistus.fi). I also tell about how in Finland different public e-services benefit authentication and authorization services. I’ll focus on to the importance of co-operation and national joint projects in authentication. Statics are one part of the presentation.
