Coached by IAM experts from the iC Consult Group, 25 students from the KIT coded in a one day & night session an application by which a car owner can share his/her car on a peer-to-peer basis. The focus of the coding was on IAM topics (e.g. login, opening and locking of the car via a well-designed car API). In order to realize authentication and authorization of car owners and car tenants, the platform Auth0 was utilized as Identity Provider. The talk will present both the coded P2P carsharing results and the experiences gained during this exciting event organized by the iC Consult Group for the very first time.
