Governance, Privacy & Compliance II

Governance, Privacy & Compliance II

Track
Wednesday, May 20, 2026 14:30—16:35
Location: A 03-04

Governance in identity is moving beyond static policies and periodic reviews toward continuous, automated assurance. As organizations scale across complex IT environments, the challenge is no longer only defining controls, but ensuring they are consistently applied, traceable, and auditable in real time. This track explores how governance is becoming an active, integrated part of identity systems.

Sessions will examine how organizations are transforming IAM governance into fully digital, workflow-driven processes. This includes the creation of structured access models, standardized role definitions, and end-to-end integration of policy controls with operational systems. The result is improved transparency, faster decision-making, and the ability to generate evidence for compliance with minimal manual effort.

A key focus is the evolution of Identity Governance and Administration. Rather than relying on heavily customized and static implementations, organizations are adopting more flexible approaches that allow governance models to be designed, validated, and reused more efficiently. This shift reduces complexity while maintaining strong auditability and control.

The track also addresses the reality that many enterprises must evolve existing platforms rather than replace them. Attendees will explore how legacy IAM and IGA systems can be adapted to support modern identity architectures, enabling them to act as foundational components within broader identity environments.

Across all sessions, the emphasis is on making governance practical and scalable. Participants will gain insight into how to move from documentation to execution, building identity systems that continuously enforce policy, support compliance requirements, and provide clear, reliable evidence in dynamic environments.
