At the same time, new approaches are emerging that rethink how delegation, authentication, and authorization should work when identities are no longer limited to people, applications, and traditional service accounts.
A central focus is the rise of identity fabrics: interconnected, adaptive systems that integrate identity, access, and governance across cloud platforms, APIs, devices, and workloads. These architectures aim to move identity from a set of isolated controls to a continuous, context-aware capability that supports both security and agility.
The track also addresses the growing importance of understanding intent in identity systems. As automated actors and AI agents operate at scale, organizations must move beyond static authentication toward real-time evaluation of behavior, ownership, and purpose.
