This track explores how these building blocks are converging to reshape the identity landscape. Sessions will examine the shift toward decentralized models and the new value chains they create, from issuers and holders to verifiers, and the economic incentives required to sustain them at scale. At the same time, global initiatives such as eIDAS 2.0 and GAIN are driving the push for cross-border interoperability, while exposing the complexity of aligning policy, standards, and infrastructure across jurisdictions.
Bringing these elements together requires more than technology. Speakers will address the practical realities of implementation - how to design interoperable systems, operationalize trust frameworks, and balance privacy, security, and usability in real-world deployments.
