This session presents a forward-thinking, architectural blueprint for unifying and securing this new identity perimeter.
We will begin by tackling the foundational challenge of device trust. We will argue that authenticating a user is no longer sufficient; true zero trust requires binding identity to a verifiably secure device before the first access request is ever made. We will explore a strategy for extending phishing-resistant, passwordless authentication directly to the desktop login, and discuss the architectural principles for continuously assessing device trust by integrating rich context and signals from the endpoint security ecosystem.
