In this presentation we would like to show the Siemens PAM Journey with its “Ups” and “Downs”, challenges and future plans to make Siemens more secure.
Industry experts share strategies for governing privileged accounts and entitlements in cloud-native environments. The conversation will cover securing privileged identities at scale, eliminating standing privileges, and aligning PAM with identity-first security architectures.
As organizations accelerate digital transformation, hybrid and multi-cloud ecosystems have redefined the concept of privilege. Privileged Access Management (PAM), once focused on vaulting admin credentials has matured into a dynamic control point for securing human and non-human identities (NHIs) as well as their privileges across diverse IT environments including hybrid, multi-cloud and Operational Technology (OT) ecosystems.
This session explores the next generation of PAM and its alignment with identity-first security strategies. Attendees will discover how organizations are adopting Just-In-Time (JIT) access, Zero Standing Privileges (ZSP), and AI-driven behavioral analytics to enforce least privilege in real time. The discussion will also highlight how PAM is expanding beyond traditional IT to secure machine identities, APIs, and DevOps pipelines that remain critical in cloud-native operations.
We’ll examine integration points with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Security Operations (SIEM/SOAR) to create a unified, risk-aware access control ecosystem.
The session discusses actionable guidance to help you future-proof your PAM strategy for hybrid and multi-cloud environments where privilege is increasingly dynamic, distributed, and central to digital resilience. Whether you’re a cybersecurity leader, IAM professional, or cloud architect, you’ll leave this session equipped to reimagine PAM not as a static control, but as an adaptive, intelligence-driven capability that safeguards the most sensitive assets in an ever-expanding digital landscape.
