Epochs of Privacy: The Future History of Identity Integrity

Epochs of Privacy: The Future History of Identity Integrity

Keynote
Tuesday, June 04, 2024 15:20—15:50
Location: C 01

In the panel "Epochs of Privacy: the future history of identity integrity," Privacy professionals and AI Governance experts Lynn Parker Dupree, Kai Zenner, and Max Schrems, and Dr. Scott David convene to identify and anticipate the effects of AI innovation on human privacy and identity integrity. As AI-powered information networks super-charge every aspect of our lives and online interactions, safeguarding data about us and upholding privacy rights is increasingly difficult - and also more existentially critical.

This session will expose and explore the complexities of privacy in the AI era weaving a rich tapestry of perspectives ranging from legal frameworks and legislative insights to academic analyses and advocacy viewpoints.

The panelists, each an innovator in their field, will identify and evaluate the multifaceted challenges and opportunities that AI technologies present for privacy.

Expect a dynamic dialogue that explores what we need to do to enjoy a future of reliable data protection strategies, impactful regulatory policies, and robust ethical engagements in AI development.  Future privacy advances will build on existing data approaches and recruit more scalable and sustainable strategies that will signal a future of privacy advocacy as a form of innovation and positive advances, and one in which technological advances amplify and extend individual rights.

Join us for a session that will enlighten, inspire and also empower stakeholders to engage affirmatively with AI-fueled change with integrity, foresight, and a steadfast commitment to privacy.
