Organizations today are faced with their most significant challenges in many decades. In the spring of 2021, following the COVID-19 pandemic, record numbers of employees began leaving their jobs in what has now been labeled "The Great Resignation." The timing could not have been worse for IT departments, as 87% already reported a cyber security skills gap. This accelerated talent shortage only put an undue burden on existing staff leading to 38% of workers reporting they were overworked and suffering from burnout.
