Interoperability of Digital IDs around the globe is a key part of OIX’s vision. But there are many questions.

How is an organisation in Indonesia going to know if it can trust a Digital ID issued in Belgium?

Equally, as a Belgian ID provider, can I release data to this organisation in Indonesia? What are their data handling and management responsibilities?

These are not technical questions. They are questions of trust.

OIX is part of the Global Assured Identity Network (GAIN) initiative and is running a working group exploring the fraud framework requirements for global Digital ID interoperability, exploring topics such as:

This session will update on the key focus areas the working group is progressing as we collectively tackle this global challenge with our GAIN Partners.
