How does the approach of decentralized infrastructure enable existing systems to communicate with each other and why is this so important when it comes to identity? The problem of digital identity systems is as old as the internet itself but still unresolved. Reasons for that are diverse due to technological and national data regulation limitations. To solve the problem sustainably we have to understand that any identity is context-sensitive - meaning it cannot be defined once and for all. Therefore, we need to define the way an identity can be enriched and how attributes can be transferred from one system to the other within the law and ethics.
