In this Leadership Compass, the primary focus is on the vendors that offer Identity Lifecycle Management, Access Governance, and Access intelligence capabilities, either as a common product or separate but integrated product components to deliver capabilities across the IGA spectrum.
This Leadership Compass is an update of the report published in August 2024. To see what it encompassed, please click here. This update will focus on products offered on on-premises in a deployable form, either at the customer’s site or deployed and offered as a managed service by a Managed IAM Service Provider or as an IDaaS IGA offering. We also consider IGA cloud solutions that can strongly extend their IGA capabilities to on-premises by offering hardware or virtual appliances, software deployed to servers, or container-based options for on-premises delivery for customers that are not yet ready or cannot move to the cloud. Focus is also given to solutions with more modern software architectures, such as using microservices, container-based deployments, and APIs that provide a more modular, flexible deployment, orchestration, and customization.
Thus, this Leadership Compass analyzes, but is not limited to:
• Connectors to target systems including reconciliation
• Account Mapping & Identity Data Model
• Identity Lifecycle Management
• Workflow & Automation capabilities
• User Self-Service Interfaces
• Identity & Access Intelligence
• Access Request Management
• Access Reviews, Recertification
• Auditing, Reporting, including advanced analytics
• Centralized Governance Visibility
• Role & SoD Management
• Admin & DevOps Support
• API support (exposing IGA capabilities via APIs)
We expect solutions to cover a majority of these capabilities, at least at a good baseline level.
