Prior to joining KuppingerCole, she was a penetration tester and worked as a cybersecurity consultant at a multinational accounting firm. Bushra has more than four years of cybersecurity experience, specifically in SIEM operations, vulnerability management, and penetration testing. She has worked for multinational corporations and banks and has extensive experience conducting security assessments for clients in the financial institutions, FMCG, automotive and logistics sectors. She is the first woman in her home country to hold the above professional certifications.
Bushra Mustafa is working as a Project Manager for KuppingerCole Analysts AG. She manages the delivery and achievement of Advisory projects.
Bushra has a bachelor's degree in engineering with an emphasis in telecommunications, combined with hands-on experience in IT security during her undergraduate studies. She has hands-on experience with offensive and defensive cybersecurity coupled with several professional and industry renown cybersecurity certifications. She also holds a program diploma in project management from the International Business Management Institute (IBMI), Berlin.
