Dr. Murthy Rallapalli is a technical leader at IBM focused on Cloud security, Quantum computing, and IBM Cloud for Financial Services based NIST & regulatory controls. He specializes in data science predictive models in health care and financial industries.
His industry experience includes 25 years at IBM as an Executive Architect specializing in security, counter fraud and Analytics solutions related to Financial Services sector. His area of expertise is in the area of cognitive computing in cyber security, Watson analytics and augmented intelligence. Currently, he serves as IBM’s Quantum ambassador furthering research in Quantum computing. He is a Quantum enthusiast with research interests in the area of Quantum machine learning algorithms.
Dr. Rallapalli is a 2020 Fulbright scholar scheduled to serve in Myanmar to help teach and design curriculum and research in the area of Data science and Cyber security domains. He was also a Fulbright specialist awardee by the US state department at Reykvejik University in Iceland (2014) and University of Prishtina in Kosovo (2017) in the area of Big data, Watson Analytics, cloud computing and cyber security.
He holds a PhD from Stevens Institute of Technology (Systems engineering & Information Privacy), Hoboken, NJ and a master’s degree from Regis University, Denver, Colorado.
He had published several red books in IBM in the area of e-business architectures, Architecture design, Information privacy and Analytics reference architectures and holds 4 patent filings in the area of data privacy and analytics.
