What Standards Have Done and Will Do for Cloud Identity
- TYPE: Keynote DATE: Tuesday, April 17, 2012 TIME: 17:30-17:50 LOCATION: Auditorium
Global work in open standards for distributed computing already HAS supplied robust, feature-rich and vendor-neutral data models and schema, for service architectures, shared resources, provisioning and access control. What the market demands NOW is more of the above -- more robustness (scalability and control); more features (better auditability and measurement); more vendor-neutrality (true portability); and still-better schema (interoperability options across a wide range of systems). Open standards development is our industry's chief tool for fulfilling those needs. During this keynote discussion, we'll talk about how we're doing.
