Identity Enabling the Enterprise - The Role of Open Source

Keynote
Monday, May 07, 2007 17:30—18:15

As enterprises move to take advantage of Identity-related concepts sweeping through the Internet, it is clear that standards alone are not enough to ensure a consistent user experience and seamless application integration.

Only Open Source technology can offer the required level of transparency and portability, which is essential for the Identity-enablement of such heterogeneous environments. Allowing the enterprise to focus its efforts on empowering its users, enhancing its agility, protecting its assets and increasing its revenue.

This session will examine the growth of Identity Services and explore how the usage of Open Source technology to manage run-time exchanges between applications and services, not only simplifies integration it also removes any concept of vendor lock-in.
