Based on the foundational works for Distributed Ledger Technologies and strategies to use them for specific concrete mobility use cases, the next level of approaching the digital identity and security challenge of the Internet of Things will be shown in actual projects together with partners from the industry.
Having conducted many tests and projects around self sovereign identity (SSI) over the past three+ years, we recognized the importance of a robust ecosystem of issuers and relying parties. Building on our knowledge and experience we set out to build and engage an ecosystem of parties representing the typical organizations that an individual interacts with for high value credentials. Over the past year we've built out the Alberta Credentials Ecosystem - a multisector collaboration focused on delivering on the promise of truly trusted credentials exchange and the value it delivers to consumers and organizations.
