The chief information security officer (CISO) of today is a different breed than that of the past. If once the role was mainly technology- and compliance oriented, today the CISO needs to be a business leader and trusted advisor to the board. This is especially true in the case of IAM.
IAM is becoming increasingly important in today's business models. The CISO must therefore understand IAM’s technological- and organisational- complexity, in order to lead the organisation in delivering tangible business results.
