Data are the crown jewels for many companies and for banks in particular. Security around Identities and their access to assets is key to protect these crown jewels but its implementation has taken a lot of time and money. And it has made business processes more complex and cumbersome for everyone also because security requirements are constantly increasing. People have accepted this grumbling because low security is certainly not an option in the digital world especially when it comes to money transactions.

Over time identity and access experts have found ways to reduce the burden of applied security and we are now seeing more and more good examples for improved user experience with less friction. Although this process is by no means completed and still ongoing it is now time to look at the next phase and to surprise employees and clients by showing how intelligent Identity and Access Management could add value and even help to increase business outcomes.
