Panel: The Future of Authentication

Combined Session
Thursday, October 24, 2019 11:00—11:30
Location: Salon B & C

As fraud increases, there is an increased need for stronger authentication. This is also why PSD2 has come out with SCA (Strong Customer Authentication) requirements. Putting more responsibility on the end-user will increase fricion, and thereby also reduce conversion rates.
This presentation will have a look at authentication, and look at mechanisms for reducing friction, by combining behavioral biometrics with data analytics and fraud detection, to give the service provider the optimum way of knowing that you are dealing with the correct user, while keeping friction to a minimum.

Key takeaways:

* The existing authentication is broken
* We cannot put more responsibility on the user
* Data driven authentcation is the future
