A year ago, many tech companies were really afraid of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (or GDPR) coming into force, and some of them even tried some intense lobbying in Brussels to try and convince the regulator that parts of the new rules would need new interpretations—their main argument being that it would kill innovation! One year in, what has changed? How did this affect the financial sector? And what is the perspective offered to Banks?
