Panel: How Traditional IAM Will Change Within the next 5 Years

Combined Session
Wednesday, May 15, 2019 11:00—12:00
Location: ALPSEE

Will traditional Identity and Access Management solutions be relevant in the next 5 years? With the increase of cyber attacks & breaches as well as the rising number of IoT devices, IAM approaches will need to adapt to the growing challenges in the increasingly interconnected world.
Using advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as well as leveraging big data will be necessary. Companies might need to re-evaluate their thinking and approach the customer and employee authentication in a different way, where they rely on their IdP of choice and bring their own identity (BYOI). Decentralized identity solutions, where power is distributed and every person owns his/her identity are being offered already.
In this panel the speakers will talk about the IAM within the next years, what trends should one expect and how the companies should adapt to future challenges.
