This talk will describe how blockchain is transforming identity by making it more secure and scalable while lowering costs and improving collaboration.
Identity and access management, at the center of bringing people into the security equation, should be making things better. But focusing purely on the technology has resulted in bad experiences and new vulnerabilities. Shifting from “users” to “people” requires us to move security away from being a dark art, and transform it into something more approachable, more human. This session will talk about a critical aspect missing from the way we, as technologists, approach identity, and how the changing role of identity is forcing a change in how we “do” identity.
Consumer identity and access management solutions have emerged in the recent years to meet evolving business requirements. CIAM is bringing value to the organizations regarding higher numbers of successful registrations, customer profiling, authentication variety, identity analytics, and marketing insights. Companies and public-sector organizations with deployed CIAM solutions can provide better digital experiences for and gather more information about the consumers who are using their services. This Panel will discuss how the next steps and trends in CIAM will look like.
