Onboarding Large Numbers of Apps to the Corporate IAM through Robotic Provisioning

In order to support the end to end business of a typical enterprise it is not uncommon that the organisation maintains more than one thousand business applications. The large number of applications creates a challenge for a corporate IAM program as onboarding such a large number of applications onto the provisioning platform using a conventional connector approach simply takes too much time and creates unacceptable costs.

The conventional answer is to focus on the core identity platforms (Active Directory and corporate directories) as well as the corporate crown jewel applications. Other applications does not get onboarded or get onboarded using a disconnected approach (provisioning through notification to application admins). This approach limits the business value of the IAM program as the reach of the IAM solution and the ability to provide in depth identity and access governance is significantly reduced.

Over the last couple of years the software robotics has started to offer an alternative approach to enable cost efficient connected provisioning to applications where no standard IAM connector is available. This panel focuses on how you can integrate software robotics into your IAM program and how you can use the technology to improve the business outcome of an IAM program.
