There is a lot of talk about Blockchain. In his presentation, Martin Kuppinger will explain the concept of Blockchain and Distributed Ledgers, its relationship to Bitcoin and alternative approaches aside of Blockchain. He will also look at the asserted and real limitations of Blockchain and whether and how these might become removed. Part of his presentation will also be an analysis of fundamental capabilities in the areas of privacy and security provided by Blockchain in comparison to other, established approaches.
