PSD2 Compliant Strong Customer Authentication: What, When, How?

Combined Session
Wednesday, March 01, 2017 15:00—16:00

PSD2 requires strong authentication of users for financial transactions. This session will discuss what constitutes strong authentication for PSD2. What are the mobile options? Will e-IDs be part of the ecosystem? PSD2 also mandates the use of technology and security standards, but does not specify technical standards. We will also explore relevant standards that may be used for PSD2 compliant deployments. Furthermore, we will explore the developments in mobile biometrics technologies and how they may be used to achieve strong authentication for PSD2 and other high value transactions.
