Identity Governance in the Context of a Connected Security Strategy

Conference Agenda

We live in an era of changes and everything happens fast. So fast. As a society, we have been building a security architecture based in silos, protecting one system at a time. And while that worked in the past, Identity Management has been one of the areas where context is instrumental. This is the time for companies to bring more variables into the risk equation and how context and environment factors in. This is the time for firewalls to talk with the IAM framework, for logs to correlate with other infrastructure information, for the gateway to consider the device someone is using to access critical information. In a world that is fully connected, this is the epoch for a security that is pervasively connected to get full control and visibility to stakeholders. We believe in a security that brings value to the business, that connects, builds and enables. At Dell Software we call it Connected Security.
