New Research provided by KuppingerCole Analysts

Wiesbaden, July 3rd, 2014 – KuppingerCole Analysts announce the release of a series of new reports on information security issues. These reports are now available for download at

New reports include Executive Views of NetIQ Identity Manager, CA SiteMinder, IBM Security QRadar as well as Beta Systems SAM Enterprise Manager. In addition, a new Vendor Report deals with Thycotic. It delivers an overview and assessment of the IAM solutions (Identity and Access Management) of the US-based Privilege Management software vendor. A new Product Report goes into details of EmpowerID’s Identity Management solution.

KuppingerCole has also released two new Advisory Notes. The first Advisory Note Identity & Access Management/Governance Blueprint is an overview of process, requirements and elements to create a blueprint for the IAM / IAG infrastructure (Identity & Access Management / Governance). This Advisory Note assists companies in finding a well-structured strategy in this area.

The second Advisory Note Extending your Active Directory to the Cloud deals with the different options for expanding current on-premise Active Directory infrastructure to the cloud, with specific emphasis on hybrid solutions in which the Active Directory is extended by Cloud IAM solutions. This report is essential for companies that currently review their future Active Directory strategy as well as look for a Cloud IAM strategy.

Finally KuppingerCole recently has also released a new Leadership Compass. The KuppingerCole Leadership Compass is a comprehensive overview of the different solution providers in a segment of the information security market. The new Leadership Compass on Dynamic Authorization Management shows that Dynamic Authorization Management is arguably the most exciting area in Identity and Access Management (IAM) today. This market segment includes solutions that enable to implement centralized authorization management systems, among others based on the standard XACML. This new Leadership Compass for the first time offers a structured review and evaluation of this increasingly important segment of IAM.

These new reports again demonstrate the leading role of KuppingerCole in providing up to date analysis with real business value on Information Security and IAM (Identity & Access Management).
