US Sales Executive (f/m/d) based in the US

We are looking for an energetic, self-starter Sales Executive to help us grow our business in North America. We offer a competitive base salary, generous commissions, and benefits. The Sales Executive is a field sales role responsible for adding value to existing client relationships while seeking out new clients as well. The Sales Executive will offer clients access to the best technical research in the industry, advisory engagements, and event sponsorships. As a Sales Executive at KuppingerCole, you will be responsible for the acquisition and development of new business. You will engage with clients and prospects to discover their individual requirements, as well as who are the responsible decision-makers. In cooperation with the KuppingerCole analysts and advisors, you will generate new and add-on business from the KuppingerCole product portfolio. It will be your job to create custom offers and to successfully close deals. The position will be based in the US, preferably near Seattle.  Telecommuting is an option.

  • Managing existing business relationships with established customers within the territory
  • Providing excellent customer service for all clients
  • Gaining add-on business with the current customer base
  • Finding and developing new business within the defined territory
  • Meeting and exceeding sales and customer service goals within budget
  • Contribute to the development of sales campaigns
  • Observation of the market and trends
  • Understanding our technical service offerings to better assist customers
  • Support in the development and marketing of new products
  • Demonstrating leadership by building and supporting a growing regional sales team
  • 3-5 years’ experience in technical consulting sales, with evidence of prior achievements
  • Ability to find, develop, and nurture C-level and senior level relationships within Global 2000 organizations across a variety of industries
  • Demonstration of business, sales, and technical acumen
  • Solid history of building long-term client relationships
  • Ability to leverage and grow contact network, sales leads, and clients
  • Expert user of standard business software, CRM, social media, and SaaS apps
  • Excellent written and oral/presentation skills
  • Ability to create persuasive presentations for decision makers
  • In-depth understanding of subscription, consulting, and event sales cycles
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Native proficiency of English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters or advanced degree a plus
  • A professional attitude, with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Readiness to travel 10-20%
