Project Manager in Research (m/f/d)

As Research Project Manager you are responsible for the coordination and organization of our research agenda. You should enjoy working with global customers and colleagues and ensure that everything runs smoothly from the beginning to the end of each project. 

Your responsibilities
  • Development and management of research project plans
  • Scheduling appointments with clients and analysts
  • Creating schedules, assigning tasks, and tracking project progress
  • Ensuring compliance with deadlines in defined processes
  • Ability to produce Gantt charts and reports on resource loading
  • Generating status reports for management
  • Serve as communications liaison between employees assigned to projects, management, and customers
  • Cooperation and coordination with client management, marketing, and sales teams
  • Optimization of internal processes, including investigation of and implementation of automation where appropriate
  • Development and maintenance of project and process documents as needed
Job requirements
  • Proven experience in IT project management
  • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
  • Ability to prioritize work items and make decisions regarding assignments and deadlines
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is a plus
  • A bachelor’s degree in related field is a plus
  • Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word
  • Proficiency in SmartSheet, Asana, Microsoft Project or other project management software
  • Very good knowledge of English and German
  • Very good organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Dedication and flexibility as well as great diligence and a sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work in a team environment
