Sergej Epp

Sergej Epp is Chief Security Officer at Palo Alto Networks in Central Europe. In this role, he develops regional cybersecurity strategy and is overseeing cybersecurity operations and threat intelligence across the region. Prior to joining Palo Alto Networks, he spent nine years in a variety of cybersecurity roles at Deutsche Bank, where he built and led cyber defense & investigations teams focusing on cybercrime, malware, supply chain, insider threat, and fraud.

Sergej studied at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and University of New Zealand. He participates regularly as a speaker at conferences, acts as executive lecturer for cybersecurity at Frankfurt School and is an advisor to venture capital funds and high-tech start-ups.
