Darrell has over 25 years of experience in multiple industries and technologies, including networking, applications and security. Darrell's career spans Silicon Valley startups to large public companies, in a variety of roles, including consulting, business and partner development, sales, marketing and product management.
Prior to joining One Identity, Darrell led the portfolio, product strategy and roadmap for CA's security business unit, including their identity governance and administration, access management and privileged access management (PAM) product line. As SVP of Product Management, Darrell positioned the CA portfolio to achieve leadership positions in key analyst reviews for Gartner's MQ for Identity Governance & Administration, Access Management and Privileged Access Management (PAM). In addition, the PAM business grew by 60% YOY and the overall identity business grew by 22%. Darrell's thought leadership at CA made an impact as he dedicated time to highlighting the value of its security products, strategy and broad technology direction at industry events and conferences. And while at Blue Coat, Darrell drove the company's transformation to a leader in secure web gateways, resulting in a revenue run-rate from $40M annually to nearly $500M annually over a five-year time frame.
