Nilixa is an experienced regulatory expert who has worked with industry, regulators and legislators to drive changes in the payments ecosystem for a payments landscape that is secure, transparent and inclusive. Nilixa is a well known international public speaker and Head of Regulatory at the UK Open Banking Implementation Entity. Prior to this Nilixa was at the Financial Conduct Authority as the policy lead on all UK and EU payments initiatives and in particular the negotiation and transposition of PSD2 and the FCA Approach Document on Payments Services and E-money.   Nilixa has worked with the World Bank, EBA, ECB, European Commission and regulators across the world, publishing the EBA Consultation on the Guidelines for an exemption under the RTS,  leading work on PSD2 eIDAS certificates and advising on payments services regulation. Prior to joining the FCA Nilixa was Senior Legal Counsel at Barclays.
