Jochen Werne, born in Waldshut in 1971, is responsible for Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, Treasury and Payment Services at Bankhaus August Lenz & Co. AG. After working as navigator for the naval school of the German naval ship, Gorch Fock', the studied international marketing and banking specialist worked among other things as Client Coverage Analyst at Bankers Trust Alex Brown International and Global Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank AG, as well as being involved in numerous other projects in Europe and American. In 2001, he joined Accenture as a customer relationship management expert in Financial Services before moving to Bankhaus August Lenz & Co. AG in Munich, where he is responsible for various areas of the institute. As part of the Innovation Leadership Team of the Mediolanum Banking Group, a member of the Management Circle's expert council, as well as the IBM Banking Innovation Council, Jochen Werne is a keynote speaker at numerous banking & innovation conferences. He is also honorary ambassador of “Peter Tamm sen. Foundation of the International Maritime Museum Hamburg” and member of the German Association for Maritime & Naval History. Jochen Werne is the founder of the Global Offshore Sailing Team and Co-Founder of the NGO Mission4Peace, dedicated to historical research, the establishment of international diplomatic relations and the promotion of an international dialogue.

He has been a keynote speaker at numerous banking & innovation conferences (including Rethink, d! Conomy, What the FinTech, Self Service Banking Europe). He is also a specialist for banking and FinTech topics as well as often quoted industry experts:
