Richard heads up the Security & Privacy division of TenIntelligence Ltd, specialising in client support and hands on practical advice on ‘all things security’ in UK, Europe, Middle East and the United States. Richard was Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Transport for London, the dynamic and challenging retail and transportation organisation with annual revenues of £4Bn before joining Tenintelligence. During his career at TfL, Richard was involved in some of the most significant threat London faced in recent times, including the 7/7 bombings, Olympics to the more recent atrocities at Westminster and London bridge. Being responsible for both counter terror assurance and investigations over time he was then requested to set up TfL’s cyber capability where he developed and led the implementation of an effective tactical and strategic cyber response programme to ensure cyber and data security resiliency, operations centre including a forensic, threat management, awareness, media handling, cyber incident response capability.
Richard is a Fellow of The Security Institute (FSyI) and a Member of the Association of Security Consultants and a Registered Independent Security Consultant (RISC). In recent times, he has twice been named within a Global Top 40 List of Security Influencers and is regularly invited to present for peers at Security Conferences throughout Europe and wide.
