As the Head of Operating System Security for Microsoft, Dave is responsible for implementing the Identity, Information Protection and Platform Security features In Azure and on devices running Windows. During his time at Microsoft, Dave has been responsible for security features in the Windows operating system, including BitLocker, Smartcards and Core cryptography. He has also been responsible for delivering the security vision to protect user and partner content on the Xbox One. Prior to Microsoft, Dave worked as a Technical Product Manager developing Supply Chain Solutions for General Electric Information Services. Dave served his country for eight years as a Submarine Officer in the US Navy. He holds an MBA from Marymount University and a BSEE from the University of Washington
