Wiesbaden, October 23, 2018 – For the third time in a row the Consumer Identity World EU will take place from October 29-31, 2018 at the Marriott Hotel, Amsterdam. The event is the second event of the Consumer Identity World Tour which took place in Seattle (Sep 19-21) and will continue in Amsterdam (Oct 29-31) and Singapore (Nov 20-22).

The Consumer Identity World EU is the place where you get input for the perfect CIAM Strategy. Attendees can learn more about Privacy by Design, Consent Life Cycle Management,the needs of their customers and get to know how to secure their personal information in a strategic and user-friendly way. 

With so many different data sources, Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) needs to be secure, clear and user-friendly at the same time. That is why the combination of Identity & Access Management and Customer-Relationship-Management continues to be a core element of any digital business. Nevertheless, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is in force since May 25, 2018, and brings new challenges for companies who deal with customers that are based in the EU. All business activities including personal data must comply with the GDPR. Not only the consumers have extended rights, also the definition of what is personal data and how it can be used has changed. In a consumer-driven world, companies have the task to see things from the customer’s perspective. Customer experience is king and delivering an incredible experience through a bespoke, tailored, and relevant communication is everything.

The first day of the Conference, the GDPR Pre-Conference Workshop Day, gives the attendees insight into the considerable quantity of abstract requirements that GDPR introduced.
