Michael looks back on more than 15 years of broad IT experience as he has worked in IT industry and for a reinsurance company in the IT department. He is specialized in information security risk management, service organization and IT strategy. He used to work as project manager, architect and consultant for large infrastructure projects in the distribution industry and for a consulting company. He subsequently supported organizations in various global positions as project manager and strategist in the areas Enterprise Architecture and IT Governance as well as Identity and Access Management and unified portals and, in the last three years, as a lead in the Information Security. Michael successfully completed his business studies and proved his experience in Information Security by two international certifications (CISM, CISA). Most recently, he worked as Program Manager Risk Management and Assessment and headed the internal, global Information Security Audit Team. Being the Chief Security Advisor of Germany for Microsoft, he is spokesperson on all aspects of information security and primary contact for Chief Security Officers and Security Executives.
