Egidio (Edge) is the Global Partner in Charge of the IT Advisory Practice at KPMG. The Global Practice represents over 300 partners and 5,000 staff, a business with fees in excess of US$1.5B. Edge is also the ASPAC partner in charge of the Risk Advisory Services (being a business over US$400M) encompassing the following major service lines: IT Advisory, internal audit services, financial risk management, business performance services and other accounting services. Relevant ExperienceEdge brings a career spanning more than 19 years in IT advisory. His specialisations include IT strategy and governance, sourcing and IT Projects. His key clients have included companies in Australia, Asia-Pacific and Globally. Edge has been an advisor in numerous areas including IT due diligence in corporate acquisitions, off shoring and outsourcing, IT strategy. Edge has also significant Asia Pacific experience in the countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, India, Japan, Thailand, Philippines and Hong Kong/ China. Edge is committed to proactive thought leadership and is the trusted advisor of many regional and global companies’ executives. He is a keynote speaker at many conferences worldwide in the sourcing and IT strategy and governance space. BackgroundEdge received his Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from the University of South Australia. He is also an alumni of the Harvard Business School having completed an executive masters programme while working with KPMG. He is also a member of a number of major professional bodies including Australian Institute of Company Directors, Institute of Internal Auditors, and Information Systems Audit and Control Association. He is also a Chartered Accountant in Australia. |
