Teodor Dumitrescu is in charge of the development of DirX, the identity and access management product suite of Siemens (http://www.siemens.com/iam).

Teodor has been closely involved for more than twenty years with the directory, identity management and security activities at Siemens. He has been the architect and project manager in charge of Siemens’ X.500/LDAP effort and helped establish DirX as a leading directory product. He has overseen the expansion of DirX to a full IAM product line including role-based provisioning, metadirectory, Web-SSO, entitlement management and federated identity solution.

Teodor has a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from the Technical University of Munich. He is a member of IEEE, ACM and the German Computer Society (GI). His professional interests include identity and access management, security, middleware, Internet- and distributed-computing in general.
