Enterprise Role Management Done Right: How to Successfully Implement Role Management – if you need it

Enterprise Role Management still is a key topic when it comes to efficiently manage large groups of users. The art of clearly defining projects for role discovery and implementation, architecture model development and lifecycle maintenance with regards to scope and resources is your most important takeaway from this training.

A large number of organizations still don’t have a mature Enterprise Role Management in place. Such a concept starts with the high level view on business roles and goes down to the system roles, which are sort of the abstraction layer of system-internal concepts. Business roles have to be provided by the business organization. They have to align with business processes and the user’s activities therein. Other concepts like constraints or competencies to limit the reach of roles – for example by adding different maximum amounts for procurement decision of different users – have to be added. All this has to be implemented in the organization, thus the organizational roll-out is one of the major challenges.

This webinar will provide you with the best practices from KuppingerCole Advisory Services at various clients. It explains how to successfully implement Enterprise Role Management, focusing especially on the organizational aspects. However, it also provides minimum requirements for software selection to ensure that the system chosen is flexible enough to support the customer’s specific requirements in Enterprise Role Management – starting with flexibility in the terms used and the role layers defined.
