Torsten is a principal engineer at Zalando focussing on fine-grained authorization and developer experience. With more than 15 years of experience as a software engineer and more than 8 years experience in Identity and Access Management he knows both worlds well.

With his strong engineering background he puts a focus on established practices like automated testing when scaling Access Management to thousands of microservices and hundreds of user facing applications.
